Raymond Regnault Growing up in Moulins, in central France, Raymond Regnault originally thought he would become a diamond merchant. When he began work at Baccarat in 1984, he specialized in shaping and cutting crystal into the form of gemstones. His incredible talent led him to become a Meilleur Ouvrier de France just nine years later. His career highlights at the maison include a crystal clock celebrated for its pendulum; the imperial eagle; the deer head, and the reissue of the Elephant Decanter. Regnault now focuses on teaching crystal cutting to new aspirants.
