A Winning Serve: Inside Baccarat’s Second Annual Petit Slam

Jannik Sinner

Under the iconic sparkling chandeliers of Baccarat Hotel New York, tennis season was welcomed in style at our Second Annual Petit Slam. Bringing together tennis sensations Jannik Sinner and Maria Sakkari, the evening was a celebration of sport, elegance, and Baccarat’s signature charm. The two top-ranking pros swapped their rackets for paddles, facing off in an exhilarating ping pong match played across a custom table with a dazzling Baccarat crystal net, embodying both their competitive spirit and playful camaraderie.

This year, we extended the excitement beyond the court, inviting our guests to experience the joy of the game firsthand. The Petit Salon was abuzz as guests took their turn at the ping pong table, testing their skills while enjoying our exclusive, tennis-inspired menu offerings. From artisanal bites to creative cocktails, the evening was a celebration of sport and sophistication, blending competitive energy with Baccarat's timeless elegance.

We proudly watched Jannik Sinner carry his success beyond the Petit Slam to achieve a remarkable victory at the US Open. Congratulations, Jannik—your win is a testament to your skill, grace, and inspiring kindness, making this year's Petit Slam an unforgettable prelude to your accomplishment.

Here's to another year of sportsmanship, elegance, and a bit of playful competition at Baccarat Hotel New York. See you courtside next year.
