Gabriel Kreuther is the Michelin-starred and James Beard-award winning chef behind the eponymous French restaurant Gabriel Kreuther and neighboring chocolate shop, Kreuther Handcrafted Chocolate.

Chef Kreuther's esteemed 30-year career has earned him numerous awards and accolades. He was named to Food & Wine’s Best New Chef’s list in 2003 and won a 2009 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef NYC.

At Baccarat Hotel New York, we invite our guests to reflect the elegance of our setting with attire that is sophisticated and refined when visiting the Grand Salon and The Bar.

In this vein, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing ripped or distressed denim, athletic wear including joggers, tracksuits, flip-flops, slides, Birkenstocks or beach sandals at all times. Crop tops, men’s sleeveless shirts, nightwear and loungewear are also not permitted.

After 4:00 PM, shorts, athletic apparel, and casual footwear are not permitted in the Grand Salon and The Bar. Jackets and/or collared shirts for gentlemen, and elegant daytime or evening attire for ladies, are always appropriate and appreciated.
