A Message from Us

We also know that a tremendous comfort level is required when planning travel and hotel stays. To this end, and in accordance with CDC, state, and local guidelines, we have crafted a sanitation and operations plan that considers the complete guest experience throughout all stages of your journey.

Upon arrival, you will notice a few changes to best ensure your comfort and safety, as well as that of our team members. In addition, we request that all individuals, guests and team members alike, wear face coverings while on property and not dining. Below we are providing information about how we have prepared for your visit and what you can expect during your stay with us.

Our commitment to cleanliness - The hotel will be completely sanitized using EPA-approved sanitizing agents.

We are only as strong as our teams – All of our team members have undergone health and safety certification courses. In accordance with New York State’s new NY HERO ACT law, the hotel’s workplace safety plan mandates that all guests are required to wear masks throughout the public areas regardless of their vaccination status.

Eat, drink and stay balanced – In-room dining’s limited hours are from 7 am until 9:30 pm. Grand Salon is available Monday through Sunday for all day dining. The Bar is available from Monday to Friday 4pm to 11pm. Our concierge team can also assist with lunch and dinner recommendations and reservations. The hotel’s Spa de La Mer, pool and fitness center are open.

While proof of vaccination is not required to check-in to a New York City Hotel, it is now required at indoor dining restaurants as well as spa and fitness venues. This policy, enacted via mayoral executive order and a health department order, launched August 16, 2021 and enforcement of this new city-wide directive begins on September 13, 2021.
Pursuant to this, if you wish to visit any of our dining outlets, which include the Grand Salon, The Bar or Le Jardin; the fitness center; or the indoor pool, please be advised that you will be required to show proof of vaccination and valid government-issued photo ID upon entering these venues. Note that children 5 years and under accompanying vaccinated parents/guardians who present the necessary documentation may enter but will be required to wear a face mask while not seated at a table or swimming in the pool. Thank you in advance for your attention to this.
