Bourgougnon mastered the art of crystal cutting at L’École Nationale du Verre in Moulins. He joined Baccarat in 1990, becoming a Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2004. He has contributed his impeccable artisanship to the creation of many exceptional pieces, such as the Tsar collection, and most recently, the restoration of the Temple of Mercury, a 2,000-piece crystal reproduction of an ancient Roman monument, originally debuted by Baccarat at the 1878 Paris World’s Fair.
